This project was conceived for the International Contest "Azores Comb Art Camp".
This contest aims to promote new design projects made in wicker or develop a new functional object in this material. Wicker is used in portuguese antique craft techniques, through which this competition is developed, in order to stimulate the connection between the craftsman and young designers.

This contest aims to promote new design projects made in wicker or develop a new functional object in this material. Wicker is used in portuguese antique craft techniques, through which this competition is developed, in order to stimulate the connection between the craftsman and young designers.
Designed specifically for this international contest, Lustre takes the form of a noble antique house's lamps and monumental palace's chandeliers, to integrate a new dimension and dinamyc matter-space. This sculptural lamp, is designed for large and big spaces, although, conceptually claiming to achieve an easy going presence, more stripped by the use of the wicker.
